What's up guys? We're currently working on the second chapter of Scumbag Loser and we should have it uploaded to mediafire and Batoto by Sunday 9/22/2013. We'll have some previews up soon so get hyped.
In other news, we recently found out that another group (we're talkin' bout you
Hellstone no Fansub) used our scans for Scumbag Loser to do their own scanlation project and took out our watermark.
We should have posted some kind of notice beforehand, but whatever. Starting from today, if your group is interested in scanlating our projects into another language this is all you gotta do:
- PM us on batoto, leave a comment somewhere on this site, or email us at shitbreadscans@gmail.com to let us know
- Credit Shitbread Scans (it'd be easiest to leave our original credits page intact)
- Don't erase our watermarks
We could have easily removed all of the watermarks from the Chinese raws up on DM5.com and passed them off as our own like a couple of scrubs, but we didn't because the Chinese groups watermarked that shit for a reason. Instead, we saved up to buy all 3 volumes, we spent a gorillion hours scanning the books on our old/slow ass scanner, and it took even more time and effort to get all the scans cleaned and redrawn. We pretty much did most of the grunt work for your group, so the least you can do is notify us and credit us.
We don't have any intention of uploading the raws. However, you can buy the japanese books on
HMV or
honto, or you can buy the french edition that was just released 2 days ago on
amazon.co.uk.
